Android sdk version on gradle and manifest -

i started using android studio few weeks ago , there's question have, in build.gradle file can set minsdkversion can in manifest, 1 override other? if put different values on gradle , on manifest consequence?

the manifest files in projects overridden gradle when build projects.

i'm new python, question might easy, anyway, patience: as trying call newton-raphson method calculate implied volatility in black-scholes formula call/put option pricing, first thing is, newton method in scipy.optimize seems calculate function's zeros, in black-scholes formula, want function's value option price, not zero.
