Reg - QTP - Automation Batch Run -

i have doubts on automation batch run through qtp , quality center. in case have 50-100 automation tests running in batch in test set in test lab in quality center:

  1. when start batch run, possible run both "application under test",qtp , qc in hidden mode. if yes, how make of them hidden mode?

  2. when automation tests running in sequence in visible mode, use same computer other activities? or move away focus of application?

  3. when automation tests running , if system goes locked or sleep mode, automation test keeps running or stopped.

  4. any other , don'ts in automation batch run please kindly share me.

answer question 1: believe no. depending on gui technical details, might possible execute aut on separate desktop, or winstation, neither qtp nor else build support afaik.

knowing subtle details 1 has pay attention if example qtp , aut running in remote desktop session makes believe not feasible goal hide or execute triple on machine want use interactively during test execution. see answer 2.

so why don´t buy old hardware monitor & keyboard switch, , connect separate machine exclusively test execution? never need touch if test execution managed qc.

answer question 2: maybe. there gui interfaces qtp can playback without target window having focus (web "event" playback mode opposed "mouse").

you would, however, need gain focus @ least once since first playback focus aut. tried using machine interactively executes qtp tests in background. it not idea. interfere way easy aut accidentally. or qtp grabs window focus.

answer question 3:

locked mode: breaks synchronization between qtp , aut because, qtp looses access gui.

sleep mode: don't know.

i'm new python, question might easy, anyway, patience: as trying call newton-raphson method calculate implied volatility in black-scholes formula call/put option pricing, first thing is, newton method in scipy.optimize seems calculate function's zeros, in black-scholes formula, want function's value option price, not zero.
